18 Ways God Rewards Your Faith

When faced with the headaches and heartaches of life, where do you put your trust? Before I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I often placed my trust in:

• My own abilities--which would either come through for me or fall short.
  

• My own wisdom--which was only limited to that which I knew. 

• My own strength--which was only as strong as I was

• My own possessions--which could get lost, malfunction, break down, etc. 

• Other people--who may come through or disappoint because of their own busy lives and circumstances

Jeremiah points out, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD." Jeremiah 17:7 Oh how happy we are when we trust in the Lord, and make the LORD our hope! And the reason? When we are faithful to place our trust in the Lord, He is faithful to bless us. Below are 18 ways God rewards our faith. (Hebrews 11:6)

18 Ways God Rewards Your Faith

When you are faithful to trust in the Lord....

1. You will be surrounded by mercy
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. Psalm 32:10

2. You will be kept in perfect peace
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

3. You will be happy
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he. Proverbs 16:20

4. You will rejoice
For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Psalm 33:21

5. You will be taken care of
Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5

6. You will be delivered from your enemies
And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. Psalm 37:40

 

7. You will be kept safe
The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25

8. You will be radiant
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. (Psalm 34:5)

9. You will not be put to shame
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 10:11

10. You will be victorious
Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD God of their fathers. 2 Chronicles 13:18

11. You will not be moved
Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. Psalm 125:1

12. You will be prospered
He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, but he who trusts in the LORD will be prospered. Proverbs 28:25

13. You will be delivered
For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me,” says the LORD.’” Jeremiah 39:18

14. You will be protected by God
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Psalm 18:30

15. You will have your prayers answered
And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him. 1 Chronicles 5:20

16. You will be established
So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20

17. You will never thirst
And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:35

18. You will not be afraid
He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Psalm 112:7

O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer! –Scriven

  
If you hope and trust are not in Jesus, don't miss out. God is just a prayer away. As long as you are still alive on this side of Heaven, it is never too late.
