Book Review: Storm Warning by Billy Graham

Imagine if storms came with no warning signs. No way for weather experts to predict when a hurricane would be coming dangerously close to a bustling city. No time to warn people of the impending danger. No time to board up windows. No time to stock up on supplies. No time to evacuate. No time, just people going about their day as always, oblivious to the imminent threat to their lives, until the storm finally hits and it’s too late.

Fortunately, storms warnings do exist. In Billy Graham’s book Storm Warning, he cleverly uses the warning signs of a storm to inform readers of the warning signs of the greatest storm this world will ever see: the Great Tribulation, whose global catastrophic horrors are described in the Bible’s book of Revelation (chapters 6-18). Written not only to inform readers, but also to encourage readers to use the time they have now to prepare for this storm like no other, so they can evacuate while there still is time.

This book was a interesting and informative read. For readers who already heed the storm warning signs in the Bible regarding the Great Tribulation, this book is a great refresher course. For those who are going about their lives as usual, oblivious to the imminent danger of this horrific time, this book spells out the warning signs, actions to take in preparation, and even how to evacuate before this storm even hits. Do you know the warning signs of this horrendous storm? Have you prepared for this storm? Do you know the evacuation plan for you and your loved ones? If not, read this book.

Disclaimer: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their book review program for bloggers. I was not asked to write a positive review, but simply, an honest one.
